Our Vision Guiding Principles That Inform and Inspire Our Practice · Child-Centred Learning · Holistic Development · Partnership and Collaboration · Every child and educator bring unique skills, passions, and perspectives. We celebrate and nurture these differences, creating an inclusive space where all can thrive.
Our Values – At Silver Birch we value parents and carers as the child ‘s first educator and we encourage them to play a full and active role in their child ‘s experience. We make decisions together, in partnership, to ensure children are given the best possible start in life. We value the diversity of family structures and lifestyles. We value families’ unique knowledge of children by asking for a detailed ‘Adventurous me’ to be completed with children to ensure that we build on experiences at home for continuity as children begin their learning with us. ‘ACORN’ – was derived from conversations with our children, their families, our staff and the wider community at open days and stay and plays. Adventure Challenge Outdoor Respect Nurture. Our values and enthusiasm for experiential outdoor adventures with children, parents, carers and the wider community will ensure that they learn through play and grow at their own pace in an unhurried meaningful learning environment. |
