At Silver Birch we understand that every child and their family are unique, with their own interests and abilities and are a vital part of our community. We encourage children to learn and develop to ensure that they can communicate confidently in ways which value and respect others. Staff aim to work in partnership with families for the benefit of children in our care. At Silver Birch we respect that families come from different social and cultural backgrounds and family life for everyone is unique but we will ensure that every child attending is supported to reach their full potential. We have a variety of ways we communicate with our parents and carers. Weekly we post sharing the play and learning observed on our Seesaw learning journals. We have a notice board with up-to-date information, pass overs at drop off and pick up to share important information with our parents and carers.
Our contingency plan in case of adverse weather or building work is at Dunoon School Hostel and this will be shared with parents and carers by the lead or manager.
